Varicocele Treatment
Varicocele Treatment
Varicocele is an enlargement of the veins within the scrotum, similar to varicose veins in the legs. It commonly develops due to abnormal blood flow within the veins and may occur without noticeable symptoms. In some patients, it can cause a dull or aching discomfort, a feeling of heaviness, testicular size differences, or may be associated with fertility problems.
Our specialized care focuses on accurate evaluation, identifying the severity and underlying cause of the varicocele, and developing an individualized treatment plan. Assessment may include a physical examination and appropriate imaging or laboratory investigations when required.

Comprehensive Evaluation & Treatment
Diagnosis may involve a detailed clinical examination and scrotal Doppler ultrasound to evaluate the veins and blood flow. In patients being evaluated for fertility concerns, additional tests such as semen analysis may be recommended based on the clinical situation.
Treatment depends on the severity of the condition, symptoms, testicular findings, and fertility-related concerns. Some varicoceles may only require observation and regular follow-up, while selected patients may benefit from procedures such as varicocelectomy or minimally invasive embolization.
Importance of Early Evaluation
Persistent scrotal discomfort, swelling, a feeling of heaviness, changes in testicular size, or concerns regarding fertility should be evaluated by a qualified healthcare professional. Timely assessment can help identify the cause and determine an appropriate management plan.
